INTU Merry Hill's external transformation is now in its final stages and set for completion this summer.
The exterior of the shopping mall in Brierley Hill is being given a multi-million pound makeover which includes a new 'golden pyramids' entrance near M&S.
Costing in excess of £10 million, the revamp aims to give a new look to the centre’s external walls and entrances, following refurbishment of its car parks and bus station over the last few years.
Local contractor Mac is carrying out the redevelopment work which includes replacing cladding, remodelling entrances and usage of energy-saving LED lighting that changes the colour of the mall's exterior walls.
Steve Hargreaves, operations manager at intu Merry Hill, said of the project: “We are excited to unveil the first images of our 'golden pyramids' entrance near M&S as we continue to work on the multi-million pound makeover of the centre’s exterior.
“The project, which is now in its final stages, is set to be complete this summer and we look forward to showing our visitors the full transformation.”
