Clent Hills Vets has been voted ‘Best in Worcestershire’ in The Best UK Vet Awards.

The awards, organised by VetHelpdirect.com, are based on pet owner reviews of veterinary practices around the UK, counting up the number of four and five star reviews over the past year.

People are asked to review the practices on five areas of care: respect for my animal, professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness and value for money.

Clent Hills’ Head Vet Alun Edwards said: "We're over the moon to be recognised as the Best Vet in Worcestershire, especially as it's based on client reviews online, during a year that has been tough for everyone.

"It's such fantastic recognition for the whole team who have worked exceptionally hard over the last 12 months to continue providing an exceptional level of pet healthcare during a never-before-experienced pandemic.

"We're so thankful to have such a fantastic team of vets, nurses, and support staff, and to have so many wonderful and supportive clients.”

Clent Hills Vets also has surgeries in Hagley, Bromsgrove and Rubery and a pet fitness and rehab centre in Bromsgrove.

Susie Samuel, CEO of VetHelpDirect.com, commented: "Choosing the right vet is an important and difficult decision for a new pet owner.

"Vet practices are all very different with their own unique characteristics and it can be challenging to understand all those differences and find the best match.

"This is why hearing from existing clients via online reviews is so helpful; many of the reviews describe detailed stories of first-hand experiences which helps owners get a really good feel for the practice. BestUKVets is a lovely opportunity to reward the practices that are at the top of their game”.

The Best UK Vet Awards have been running for nine years, with this year’s ceremony held remotely.
