This year, there are 26 seats available out of the total of 72 serving the 24 wards across the borough.

Most of the wards will see one candidate elected, with residents in Belle Vale and Kingswinford North & Wall Heath selecting two.

The 2019 election ended in a dead heat with both Labour and the Conservatives holding 36 seats each, before the Tory mayor Alan Taylor used his casting vote to give his party control.
