HIMLEY Hall has confirmed its ever-popular antiques and collector’s fair is to return this Sunday (April 18).

More than 50 traders are booked for the outdoor event, which will adhere to the latest Covid guidelines..

Visitors will be able to pick up antiques and collectables in the grounds of the 18th century hall during the event which will be open to the public from 9am to 4pm.

The Himley Hall coffee shop hatch will also be open, serving light refreshments and hot drinks to take away.

Event organiser Paul Rowson said: "We are so pleased to be able to return to this wonderful venue, Himley Hall lends itself perfectly as a backdrop to the antique fairs.

"The response we get from the public is always terrific with so many people not realising what a gem we have here on our doorstep.

"We have over 50 traders already booked for the next outdoor fair and more on a waiting list for when we are allowed indoors."

Stuart Connelly, Dudley Council's head of culture, leisure and bereavement services, said: "Covid restrictions have prevented us from holding events such as this and we are delighted the easing of restrictions mean we can now welcome the traders back to the hall grounds.

"As always we ask people to continue to be careful when visiting any of our parks. It’s vital that we continue to practice social distancing and good hand hygiene and people must stay at home and seek a test if they have any of the Covid-19 symptoms."

Admission to the event is £2 for adults, and free for children under 16.
