MARY Stevens Hospice is running a Wills Month initiative throughout May, offering residents chance to write a will at a discounted price and help a good cause in the process.

The Stourbridge hospice has partnered with four local solicitors and will writers from around the Dudley borough to run the initiative which will help to raise vital funds for the charity.

During May, hospice supporters can sign up to start writing their will with one of four trusted partners - Wall James Chappell, GloverPriest Solicitors, Talbots Law and King Will’s Wills.

All solicitors and will writers will be donating 50 per cent of the fees back to the hospice.

Sophie Donovan from Glover Priest Solicitors said: “GloverPriest Solicitors are supporting Mary Stevens Hospice for the third year running for their Wills Month.

"Over previous years it has been a great pleasure to not only support a fabulous charity but to support and encourage people to get their affairs in order. For some people, sorting their will is scary, it makes them face the fact that they won’t be here forever and that can be a worrying prospect, especially if they have children.

"We try and make the process light hearted.

"Whether you need a will to protect your money and property, or simply just to make sure your children are looked after if the worst was to happen you, GloverPriest can support you through that process, making it easy and offering you comfort and peace of mind.”

Single wills cost £90 and double wills are being offered at £150.

People can sign up to start the process of writing a will via the hospice website marystevenshospice.co.uk/event/wills-month-may-2021/.
