MOTORISTS are being warned to expect delays as temporary traffic signals are in place while a gas leak is fixed in Cradley.

The multi-way lights are on Drews Holloway (A458) at the junction of Belle Vale and Beecher Road East, on the border of Halesowen and Cradley.

The junction, near the Lutley Oak pub, is on the main route from Halesowen to Stourbridge, with motorists being advised to find alternative routes due to delays.

A spokesman for Dudley Council said: "Cadent are manually controlling the signals from 7am till 7pm, however due to the strategic and traffic sensitive nature of this highway, significant delays are likely to occur, especially at peak periods and it is recommended that alternative routes are used when possible/practical."

It is expected work could continue until Friday (May 21).
