ONE of the region's oldest estate agency businesses, Nock Deighton, has expanded its reach into Stourbridge.
The property business was established in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, in 1831 and has seven offices throughout Shropshire and north Worcestershire.
The company says it has sold in excess of a quarter of a billion pounds worth of property last 12 months and now it has its sight on the popular DY8 and DY9 areas.
Chairman Michael Nettleton said: “We have seen somewhat of a transformation of the business in recent years.
"We have a clear action plan to grow the company and intend to do so.
"We have an excellent reputation amongst our existing clients for our high levels of service and excellent results and we feel there is real opportunity for us to provide this service beyond our existing area of operation."
Joining the company will be Nick Lawton, who has been in the property industry for more than 20 years.
Mr Nettleton added: "DY8 and DY9 have been areas of significant interest to us for some time but we didn’t want to just open up an office and hope.
"It was vital for us to find the right person that would fit in with our culture and who would be able to maintain our excellent standards and high levels of service, Nick was a natural choice.
"We have seen that there is an opportunity to provide an enhanced and complete service to these local communities and, coupled with the four company values of integrity, service, loyalty and accountability we are looking forward to being able to help home movers across the area.”
