FIREFIGHTERS have been kept busy today after properties were flooded in Pensnett.
Brierley Hill and Dudley fire crews were alerted at 12.39pm when two properties in Dudley Road were affected by flooding.
A team of 10 firefighters worked to limit the damage to properties, using pumps to divert the water away to drains.
Dudley Council and police were also alerted to the incident and the electrics had to be isolated at one of the properties.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "The flooding had been caused by water run off from adjacent land."
Firefighters left the scene at around 2.25pm and the incident was left in the hands of the police, who were directing traffic.
