BIKERS from far and wide are set to descend on Stourbridge this weekend for a memorial meet to remember TikTok motorcycle star Fr3sh10.

Halesowen based motorcyclist Nathan Evans has organised a meet up event outside The River Rooms in Mill Race Lane on July 24 and he is expecting anywhere from 200 to 2,000 bikers to turn up for the gathering at midday

He said: "I think everyone in Stourbridge is looking forward to it. It's been a long time in lockdown. It'll be a nice little event."

The event has been organised in memory of biking celebrity Fr3sh10, from Canada, who died in a motorcycle accident last month and who Nathan described as "a positivity spreader". He said: "A lot of bikers are like that, trying to make people smile."

Forklift truck driver Nathan, who used to live in Stourbridge's Old Quarter, said onlookers can expect to see "a lot of fun helmets" and he himself will be donning his eye-catching Elmo headgear at the event in honour of social media star Fr3sh10, aged 30, who was known for posting videos about his time motorcycling in Canada.

The bikers, who are expected from across the country and overseas, are set to muster at midday and then Nathan explained: "It's biker tradition to rev in memory of the fallen so at 1pm every single bike will be revved at full throttle - then we're going on a ride up to Halesowen and back to Stourbridge."

Although Covid restrictions have now been lifted, he said he has requested that everyone attending does a lateral flow test ahead of the event and he said he has informed West Midlands Police of the gathering.
