A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Cradley last night with left a man fighting for his life.
The 53-year-old victim is in hospital with life-threatening head injuries after police were called to reports of people fighting in Drews Holloway South at around 8.43pm last night (Tuesday July 20).
Part of the road was cordoned off today as police investigate.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said officers were called to "people arguing and fighting."
They said: "A 29-year-old from Halesowen was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.
"To help us understand what happened, we need your help. Please check your CCTV and doorbell cameras to see if they captured anything.
"We also want to hear from you if you saw people arguing or fighting.

They said the victim was a local man.
