A KIND-HEARTED Norton schoolboy has raised more than £200 for a town charity after getting classmates to join him on a litter pick.
Mikey Cowx, aged nine, and his friends spent around two hours collecting discarded rubbish in Norton woods, surrounding streets and the Broadway armed with donation buckets.
They also set up a Gofundme page to keep the cash coming in.
The pupils' fundraising efforts will now see vital cash donated to charity Leslie's Care Packages, which is run by Stourbridge campaigner Vi Wood and provides essential food and other items for families struggling to cope financially.
