WALK-IN Covid-19 vaccines will be available at Wordsley Community Centre this Friday (July 30).

The centre will be open from 9am to 1pm for anyone needing to get a vaccine without booking an appointment in advance.

Health chiefs have not confirmed which vaccine is available at the centre.

Jhoots Pharmacy at Brierley Hill Health & Social Care Centre in Brierley Hill is also offering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine between 2pm and 10pm every day to adults without the need for an appointment.

People can also walk in for a first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at St Francis Church, Poplar Road, Dudley, between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Saturday July 31.

Halesowen Cultural Centre, Highfield Lane, Halesowen, is also offering first and second doses of the Pfizer jab from 9.30am to 5.30am every Thursday up until September 2.

A total of 396,691 first and second dose jabs have now been administered in Dudley, according to NHS England figures.

In the Dudley borough confirmed cases of the virus have fallen by 28 per cent in the last week, according to latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been 1,315 confirmed cases of the virus in the last seven days (an infection rate of 408.9 per 100,000 people) compared to the previous seven days when there were 1,834 cases confirmed and the infection rate stood at 507.3 per 100,000.
