A FIRM founded by a Stourbridge couple has become West Bromwich Albion's new back-of-shirt sponsor.

In Touch Games, which employs more than 500 people and has its HQ at Fountain House, Halesowen, has launched multiple world-leading brands in the mobile casino sector, also known as eGaming.

The agreement will run for the length of the 2021/22 season and will see the In Touch Games logo displayed on the men’s first-team shirts.

The most successful In Touch Games brand, mFortune, will feature on the back of the men’s first team away and third shirts this season.

Simon King, Albion's Chief Commercial Officer, is delighted the club and firm have reached an agreement for the coming season.

He said: "In Touch Games have had a remarkable success story in such a short space of time, and we’re delighted that we can work closely with such a successful Black Country-based business. "They are a big employer in the region and we can’t wait to work closely with the In Touch team to develop our relationship.

“Although this agreement is set to cover the 2021/22 season, both parties acknowledge that this has the potential to form an incredibly positive and prosperous long-term partnership.

“We’re also grateful that the team at In Touch Games have agreed to change the colour and style of their M-Fortune logo to preserve the fantastic design of our away and third kits for this season.”

Intouch Games Ltd's founder Simon Wilson said: “It is a real bonus for a local business our size, that was started in the Black Country and is still operating here to be able to sponsor the local football club.

"Not many clubs nowadays are sponsored by local businesses.

"Everyone at Intouch Games is really excited about this opportunity.

"We are all looking forward to a long term relationship with West Bromwich Albion F.C and hopefully bringing them a winning streak and back to the Premiership!”

Simon, a former Cradley CofE Primary school pupil, built the now globally successful business with his wife Caroline from their home town of Stourbridge.

They started the firm in 2001 from a small premises in the town as a manufacturer of Jukeboxes and slot machines supplying the UK pub trade before developing a mobile phone casino app in 2006 which was a massive success.

The system was a huge success, which led to massive expansion, and they have continued to grow ever since.

In Touch Games now employs more than 500 people running eight mobile gaming and soft slots brands. The company also develops and sells software to leading online brands.
