ROCK band Idlewild are to perform in Stourbridge as part of their special 25th anniversary tour.

The cult Scottish group, who have had eight top 30 singles and six top 30 albums, will be performing at Stourbridge Town Hall on Saturday November 13.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (September 3) and are expected to be snapped up quickly for the band’s only Midlands anniversary tour date.

The show will feature greatest hits from the band's back catalogue right up to their most recent album, with surprises promised and appearances from past band members.

Kelly Martin, manager of Stourbridge Town Hall, said: "We're delighted to welcome Idlewild to Stourbridge Town Hall, and being a personal fan of the band makes this all the more exciting.

"Idlewild put on an amazing live show and we're so happy to be a part of their special 25th anniversary tour.

"This is one of many top live music concerts we're aiming to bring to Stourbridge Town Hall, as part of a diverse programme of events.

"After being closed for so long we really can’t wait to welcome back the public and breathe some fresh new life into this historic venue."

Tickets will be available online from boroughhalls.co.uk or from the box office on 01384 812812.
