TWO Stourbridge based Indian restaurants have made it to the finals of the prestigious English Curry Awards 2021.

Indiluxe Restaurant in Amblecote, Stourbridge, and Bombay Pickles in Stourbridge are among the West Midlands' eateries shortlisted in the Restaurant of the Year category.

Balti Towers in Halesowen and Mozalicious in Oldbury have also made the shortlist in the same category.

Meanwhile, Bombay Pickles in Lower High Street is also a contender for the Chef of the Year award.

Little Bangla in Oldbury has been shortlisted in the Bangladeshi Restaurant of The Year category, and Dudley Spice has been selected as a finalist in the Local Restaurant of the Year category.

The awards, now in their tenth year, celebrate top Asian curry professionals and businesses, with the shortlist determined by public vote.

A spokesperson for the English Curry Awards 2021 said: “Despite the many challenges facing the curry industry, these awards prove year after year how much talent there is fuelling the industry, satisfying all of our curry cravings.

"We have an abundance of talent and fierce competition this year and we wish best of luck to all finalists.”

The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Holiday Inn at Birmingham Airport on October 18.
