ROADS in Brierley Hill will be closed to traffic tomorrow (Saturday September 11) as the town hosts the Brier Fair.

The fair, a free community event, will be taking place from 9am to 4pm and will include a funfair with children’s rides, market stalls, entertainment and Punch and Judy Shows.

To enable it to go ahead safely, the High Street and Mill Street will be closed to traffic from 9am to 5pm.

The High Street will be closed between Pearson Street and Mill Street, and Mill Street will be closed between the High Street and the entrance of the car park next to St Mary’s Catholic Church.

Traffic will be diverted via High Street, Level Street, Venture Way, Mill Street or motorists will be able to continue on Venture Way to High Street, and vice versa.
