POLICE have named the 12-year-old boy who lost his life after a tragic incident at Tamworth's Snow Dome.
Louis Watkins of Sutton Coldfield died after the incident at the leisure facility on Friday September 24.
Police officers attended the location, along with ambulance crews, after being alerted at 6.40pm to reports that a child had been seriously injured but tragically Louis died of his injuries shortly afterwards.
Staffordshire Police said officers continue to investigate the circumstances of the tragedy with support from the Health and Safety Executive and a spokesman for the force added: "Louis’s family are being supported by specially-trained officers."
