A MAIN road is set to close overnight for four days while it is resurfaced.
One lane of Pedmore Road, Dudley, will close overnight from next Tuesday (October 5) until Friday October 8.
The closure will begin at 7.30pm each evening and continue to 3am the following morning, with restrictions lifting at 3am on Friday October 8.
It will be closed southbound only from the southern boundary of number 28 Pedmore Road to Peartree Lane.
The quarter of the roundabout at the junction of Pedmore Road and Peartree Lane (between Pedmore Road and Peartree Lane), will also be temporarily closed.
The alternative route for traffic will be via Pedmore Road, Highgate Road, Stourbridge Road, Dudley Road, Venture Way, Level Street, and Pedmore Road.
Dudley Council said: "The purpose of the restriction is to safely facilitate carriageway surfacing.
"Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe."
