A NEW artisan food and craft market is coming to Himley Hall this weekend.

Cheeses, homemade bread, craft beer, doughnuts, gin and liquors, pickles, sauces, jams, pies and more will be available to buy.

There will also be stalls selling hand-crafted jewellery, skincare products, bath bombs, candles, soap, specialised dog treats and more.

The event, being held in the courtyard and on the lawns outside the historic stately home on Sunday (October 3) from 10am to 4pm, will feature 40 different stalls.

Councillor Simon Phipps, Dudley Council's cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said: "This new market will bring handcrafted produce to Himley from people who are passionate about what they do, and in many cases are award winners for their work at shows all over the country.

"The event will be outdoors and measures will be in place to ensure the safety of visitors, so come along and give it a try, and eat, drink and enjoy."

Admission is £3 for adults and £2 for OAPs and students. Children under 16 are allowed in for free.

For those unable to attend this weekend, a similar event will take place at Himley on Saturday November 20.
