CHILDREN and families can experience the magic of Christmas when Himley hosts a special series of events this December.

From Thursday 16 to Sunday, December 19, families can spend a magical evening with Father Christmas, his elves and the ghost of Christmas past at the festive outdoor event.

Councillor Shaun Keasey, cabinet member for digital, customer and commercial services, said: “We’re really excited to be welcoming Father Christmas and his elves to Himley this December as part of our Christmas Portal event.

“Families can join in the festive atmosphere and speak to Father Christmas on the large interactive screen before receiving their gifts and enjoying the rest of their visit, complete with festive food market, fun fair and entertainment. Families can make a complete day or evening of it and it’s sure to get people in the festive spirit.”

Tickets cost £5 for adults, £10 for children aged 2 – 15 (including a gift from Father Christmas) and can be purchased from himleyhallandpark.co.uk/christmas-portal

Babies and toddlers up to 24 months are free, but no gift is available for these younger children. Parking for all visitors costs £2.
