A MAN from Dudley has been fined for drink driving.

Vasile Nituca of Selbourne Road drove a motor vehicle on Birchtree Island after consuming 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 34-year-old was fined £400, disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £135 in costs.

Meanwhile, a man from Oldbury has been fined for assault.

Eddie Hall of Bright Road assaulted an individual by beating on June 22 in Dudley.

The 58-year-old was fined £200 and ordered to pay £330 compensation and a £34 victim surcharge.

A woman from Stourbridge has been handed a community order for a series of thefts in Merry Hill Shopping Centre.

Jenna Foster of Scotts Road stole a number of toys from Hamleys to the value of £68, several books from Waterstones to the value of £41.96, and a toy from Disney store to the value of £20.

Foster, aged 33, also stole a YSL handbag from Flannels to the value of £1220.

Dudley magistrates ordered Foster to be under curfew with electronic monitoring for four weeks and pay £185 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.

A man from Halesowen has been fined after drink driving.

Gavin Bradley of Newbury Close drove a White Skoda Octavia on Nimmings Road after consuming 89 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 55-year-old was fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £135 in costs.

Dudley magistrates also disqualified Bradley from driving for 20 months.

A man from Brierley Hill has been handed a community order after using threatening behaviour or language towards two individuals.

David Kinsell, aged 42, of Moor Street was ordered to receive six months of alcohol treatment and was fined £120.
