COMMUNITY-MINDED people who live in the Wollescote area are invited to attend a new Tenants and Residents Association meeting on Monday (October 25).

The meeting will take place at Queenway Public House, Gauden Road, from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Council tenants and residents who live in the area are welcome to attend.

People will have chance to get involved in their local community and be invited to support projects to help people in the area.

An election of committee members will also take place during the meeting.

Councillor Laura Taylor-Childs, Dudley Council's cabinet member for housing and community services, said: "We are supporting local community members to hold this inaugural meeting to form a local Tenants and Residents Association in the Wollescote area.

"Anyone who is interested in being part of the committee or even those who just something to say about their local area can take part."

Anyone who has questions about the TRA or meeting can contact Dudley Council’s participation development team on 01384 815168.
