THE air ambulance was sent to help a woman fighting for life in Amblecote.
Medics were called to a woman in a critical condition at an address in Platts Crescent, at 3.23pm today (Tuesday October 26).
The woman was given advanced life support and was taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency at an address in Platts Crescent, Amblecote.
"We sent two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car.
"On arrival, crews found a woman in a critical condition.
"Staff administered advanced life support at the scene and continued treatment enroute to hospital via land ambulance.”
