Halloween is just 2 days away now and if you’re doing the traditional thing of trick or treating outside then you might want to know how to prepare for the weather in the Black Country this weekend.

If you’re out and about in Dudley, Stourbridge and Halesowen this weekend, look no further.

Dudley

In Dudley on Saturday, the Met Office says you can expect temperatures with highs of 11 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. It will be a mostly dry day with heavy rain in the morning.

Temperatures start to drop from 6pm so if Saturday is your chosen trick or treat night, make sure you wrap up warm because it might start to feel cooler when you’re knocking from door to door.

On Sunday, Dudley can expect to see temperatures of 7 degrees to 10 degrees. The temperature at 6pm is expected to be 9 degrees but feel like 5 degrees so putting on an extra layer under your spooky outfits might be a good idea.

Some heavy rain is expected in the morning and at midday but the afternoon and evening are looking mostly dry.

Stourbridge

In Stourbridge on Saturday, the Met Office says the temperature will range from 8 to 13 degrees with the warmest spell being in the afternoon. It will be a mostly dry day with heavy rain in the morning.

Temperatures will start dropping after 5pm so prepare to stay warm if you’re outside at that time.

On Sunday, Stourbridge will see its lowest temperature of the day which is 8 degrees in the early hours of the morning. The highest temperature is expected to be 11 degrees from 9am to at least 3pm.

Rain is very likely in the morning but it should be dry later in the evening.  

Halesowen

On Saturday, the Met Office predicts Halesowen will see temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees. It looks like it will be a very wet morning but after midday it will be mostly dry with a small chance of precipitation.

Sunday will see highs of 11 degrees and lows of 7 degrees in Halesowen this weekend. Heavy rainfall will be experienced from the morning through to the afternoon but the evening from after 3pm looks to be dry.

West Midlands weather forecast

The Met Office’s West Midlands weather forecast says Saturday will see some rain: “A wet start, but rain will clear east through the morning. This will then be followed by a mixture of sunshine and showers, which will ease into the evening. Maximum temperature 14 °C.”

Its outlook for Sunday to Tuesday says: “Staying unsettled throughout the period, with further rain, heavy at times, interspersed with some drier and sunnier spells. Often windy, and feeling cold.”
