ROCK band Idlewild have been forced to reschedule this Saturday's gig in Stourbridge due to a positive Covid test.

The cult Scottish group, who have had eight top 30 singles and six top 30 albums, were set to perform at Stourbridge Town Hall on Saturday November 13.

The date was part of their 25th anniversary tour.

Dudley Borough Halls tweeted: "We're so sorry to announce that @IdlewildtheBand's 25th anniversary show at #Stourbridge Town Hall this Saturday (13 Nov 2021) has had to be rescheduled due to a positive Covid test result within the band."

The show was set to feature greatest hits from the band's back catalogue right up to their most recent album, with surprises promised and appearances from past band members.
