CHRISTMAS celebrations in Kinver kick off this Friday (November 26) when BBC Midlands Today presenter Nick Owen will be switching on the Big Christmas Tree lights.
The lights will be switched on at 6pm in the High Street where there'll also be food and drink stalls, mulled wine and festive entertainment.
Village shops will be open late and Santa will be stopping by on the Kinver Rotary Club sleigh at 7pm to give out treats to little ones.
Kinver will also host its first Saturday Christmas Market from 10am to 4pm on Saturday November 27.
There will be an array of stalls along the High Street, offering seasonal goods and gifts, plus live music and dance throughout the day.
Celebrations will also continue the following week when St Peter’s Church holds its annual Christmas Tree Festival.
The church will be full of trees decorated by local businesses and organisations.
The festival runs from December 2 to 5, opening at 11am each day.
And on Saturday December 4, Kinver shops will celebrate Small Business Saturday with gift shopping opportunities and a helping of street entertainment.
