BIG-HEARTED staff and councillors from Dudley Council have been working to put a smile on the faces of children across the borough.
Staff and councillors have donated dozens of toys and games to a new Christmas appeal.
The games will be distributed to children across the borough, who would otherwise go without a gift at Christmas, as part of the scheme run by Santa’s Black Country Toy Appeal charity, having previously been known as Operation Santa - co-ordinated by Dudley CVS.
Councillor Anne Millward, the Mayor of Dudley, said: "No child should go without at Christmas, but sadly some do. "This is a fantastic initiative and I am delighted that staff and elected members are helping to put a smile on children’s faces."
Donations include books, clothes and selection boxes and people can donate up until Tuesday December 14.
