A FESTIVE Fittle and Fayre event in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice will take place in Stourbridge next weekend.

The event will take place at The Bonded Warehouse, Canal Street, from 3pm to 10pm on Saturday December 11 and will see vendors serving up an array of street food and drinks.

There'll also be craft stalls selling everything from wire decorations to upcycled gifts and cards and handmade Christmas wooden gifts, plus music and entertainment including a performance by the Got2Sing choir, a DJ playing festive tracks and Billy Spakemon will be ‘live’ at 6.30pm with Josh Buckley also be performing.

There is no need to book in advance to attend the event which will see Canal Street closed to cars for the day.

A donation on the gate will go towards helping to fund the work of Mary Stevens Hospice based in Hagley Road, Oldswinford.

Amanda Bowen, head of fundraising at the hospice, said: “We can't think of a more enjoyable way to kickstart Christmas and support The Mary Stevens Hospice at the same time. With Street food, music, Christmas craft stalls and of course drinks from local breweries, there really is something for everyone.

"Our community have continued to support us through another difficult year, and this is a great opportunity for us to say 'thank you'."
