WALL Heath raconteur and author Terry Church has published his eighth book entitled Bygone Days in Wall Heath, Moss Grove and Kingswinford.

Born in Kingswinford but having lived in Wall Heath for more than 70 years, Terry has a wealth of knowledge of the area.

The new book is his fifth book covering life in 'his' village.

Terry’s other three books were inspired by his interest in sport and sportsmen of the Black Country.

Bygone Days was launched at a Heritage Open Days staged by Wall Heath Community Association on November 13 at the village community centre.

The event attracted almost 600 visitors to view all things Wall Heath and the initial supply of books sold out on the day.

A second print run was ordered and books, priced £9.95, are now available at Ashwood Nurseries.

Additionally Terry will be available to sign copies of his book at Kingswinford Library on Saturday December 11, between 11am and 2pm.

There's also a display of photographs of old Kingswinford in the library.
