WOLLASTON actor Alan Birch will once again take on the role of 'The Librarian' for another ghost storytelling night at Katie Fitzgerald's this evening.

Alan, who runs Weeping Bank Productions together with award-winning author AG Smith, is hosting the one-man Silent Nightmares show at the revamped venue off Enville Street, with the show starting at 8pm tonight (Wednesday December 22).

He will take on three different roles in total as he brings to life spooky tales to send shivers down spines this Christmas.

Alan said: "These stories are all very much in the tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmas but with the addition of projected images to enhance the experience.

"Katie’s can hold 100 people, but we are limiting the number of seats to 80 so everyone has a little more breathing space and hopefully feel a little more comfortable about being indoors with other people."

Alan has put on similar shows at The Old Joint Stock theatre in Birmingham and The Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge which went down a storm.

Rock legend Robert Plant even turned up to one of them at The Bonded Warehouse.

Katie Fitzgerald’s has been transformed from a pub to a venue for live music, comedy and live performances since the pandemic hit.
