BEECH Road in Norton will be temporarily closed to traffic this week while work to resurface the road takes place.
The road will be closed between Norton Road and Lea Vale Road from Monday January 10 until Friday January 14, from 8am until 4pm each day.
Traffic will be diverted via Lea Vale Road, Stanley Road, Norton Road, and vice versa.
Highways chiefs have ordered the closure to enable to carriageway surfacing to go ahead safely.
Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe.
