A STOURBRIDGE hotel and bar has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Talbot Hotel, in Stourbridge High Street, was given the score for its bar after an assessment on November 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The FSA rates businesses from zero to five so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
A rating of three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory; and The Talbot, which dates back to the 1630s, scored this rating in all three categories - the hygienic handling of food, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and the building and the management of food safety.
