DUDLEY South MP Mike Wood will be hosting his first post-Covid Apprenticeship and Skills Fair next week - to help people find new career opportunities after the pandemic.

The fair will run from 3pm to 5pm on Thursday March 3 at the Richardson Hall in Lawnswood Road, Wordsley.

Apprenticeship providers including Dudley, Halesowen and Wolverhampton Colleges, Lloyds Bank, the NHS, West Midlands Ambulance Service, West Midlands Police, Stonegate Pubs will be attending.

Mike Wood said: “Events of the past two years have meant it's been more difficult than normal for people to find information about new work and career opportunities.

“That said, there are still so many fantastic apprenticeships out there that people maybe just haven’t heard about.

"That’s why I’m so pleased to get my annual Apprenticeship and Skills Fairs back up and running and welcome young people from across Dudley South to meet with some of the organisations and businesses providing these opportunities.

“I look forward to seeing as many people there as possible.”

The event is free to attend and free car parking will be available at the former Mere Education Centre in Lawnswood Road (DY8 5PQ) while the fair is open.
