A STOURBRIDGE business has received a boost from Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.

Sarah Mullaney, owner of She's a Writer, was awarded a ‘Small Business Sunday’ certificate at Theo’s annual winners event on Friday (February 25) at the ICC Birmingham.

In January, Sarah tweeted Theo about her freelance copywriting and content marketing business during #SBS and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet to his near half a million Twitter followers.

She’s a Writer, which is profiled on the #SBS website theopaphitissbs.com, helps businesses communicate better with their target audience through freelance copywriting and content marketing services, including website copywriting, blogs, articles and social media marketing.

Sarah, aged 25, said: “I'm still in the early days of my business and usually work from my bedroom or local cafes. It's amazing to receive recognition from Theo and spread the word about She's a Writer to his following.

“It's great to be able to raise the profile for copywriters like me who help businesses build more meaningful connections with their target audience.”

Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue chairman Theo Paphitis said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses in the UK.

"My vision is that everyone who has won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners and I wish She’s a Writer every success.”

Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm using the hashtag #SBS.

Six lucky businesses are re‐tweeted every Monday at 8pm and invited to enter their profile on the website and attend an annual networking event.
