PLANS to open a new indoor mini golf facility at The Waterfront in Brierley Hill should now be in full swing after planners gave the thumbs up to the scheme.
An application for a change of use for 27-29 Waterfront East, from a drinking establishment to indoor recreational use, was approved by Dudley Council planners on February 24.
Few details have been provided on the local authority’s planning website but it is understood the venue is to become an indoor mini golf facility.
The planning application, submitted by Alistair Winning of MH No1 Limited Partnerships, was given the green light with conditions after council planners recommended approval.
A planning officer’s report stated: “The application site is not allocated or designated for a specific land use and as such the proposed use would be acceptable in this location, making use of otherwise vacant units and improving the vitality of the area.”
