KATIE Fitzgerald’s in Wollaston is to celebrate St Patrick’s Day for the first time since the pandemic hit.
Two years ago, Eddy Morton and Trina Keane who run the Enville Street venue, took the agonising decision to close on March 15 just ahead of the annual Irish celebration in 2020 as Covid took hold.
This year, however, with restrictions lifted and the venue revamped and rebranded to host music and comedy events, it’s full steam ahead for St Patrick’s Day which will be celebrated with Irish singing and dancing on Thursday March 17, from 7pm.
Tickets are available from katiessecretgarden.com
Eddy said: “This the third time lucky for the hosting of this event featuring Damn the Weather and the Katie Collins School of Dance.
“It will be three years since we were able to celebrate St Patrick’s Day here at Katie Fitzgerald’s.
“We are so pleased to welcome back our friends Damn the Weather to our newly rebuilt venue here in Katies Secret Garden.”
