KIND-HEARTED people in Kinver and visitors to the village high street donated £681.36 in just four hours to a bucket collection to help those fleeing war-torn Ukraine.
The Rotary Club of Kinver organised the collection in aid of the Ukranian Refugee Appeal.
The cash has been sent to the Rotary UK’s Disaster Response Fund which will enable the funds to qualify for the country’s Gift Aid scheme, bringing the total donated to the appeal to £851.
Thanking the public for their support, President Dave Goring said the collection demonstrated just one of the many aspects of Rotary’s contribution to the community.
