THREE teenagers have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder following the death of John Jones in Stourbridge.

Mr Jones, aged 36, suffered a gunshot wound and died at the scene in Caslon Crescent on the evening of February 25.

Another man was injured after being stabbed and discharged from hospital after treatment.

Two 16-year-old boys and a third, aged 15, were arrested yesterday (March 30) and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (April 1).

The boys cannot be named due to their age.

They have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a bladed article.

Two men have already appeared before magistrates charged with Mr Jones’ murder, attempted murder, possession of a shotgun and perverting the course of justice.

Ravi Talware, aged 31, and 40-year-old Kevin Waldron were remanded ahead of their next appearance at Wolverhampton Crown Court tomorrow.

Detective Inspector Laura Harrison from our force CID, said: “Mr Jones’ family have been fully updated with these latest charges and continue to be supported by our specialist officers.

“I continue to urge anyone with any information, who hasn’t already spoken to us, to get in touch as soon as possible.”
