WORDSLEY thespians were getting back to treading the boards this week with a production of an Agatha Christie classic.

Members of award-winning Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society are staging Appointment with Death at the Crestwood Theatre, Crestwood School, Bromley Lane, until Saturday April 30.

Shows start at 7.30pm tonight (Friday) and Saturday.

For more details check out the Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society Facebook page or visit www.wordsleyamdram.co.uk.

Directed by Andrew Rock, the play centres on an assorted group of travellers who find themselves thrown together on an expedition to the rose red city of Petra.

When one of the group is found dead, the surviving travellers find themselves among the suspects.

This production was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so amateur actors were excited to finally bring it to life on stage in front of audience members.

Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions) and they are available on the door or can be booked by emailing wordsleyamdram@outlook.com or by calling the box office on 01384 270228.
