A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a car crash on Stourbridge ring road.
The accident happened on St John's Road near the BP garage at around 8.46am today (Tuesday June 7), with police and medics called to the scene.
The driver of one car, a woman, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital for further checks.
A child from the other vehicle was assessed by paramedics and discharged on the scene.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by the police at 8.46am to reports of an RTC on St Johns Road, Stourbridge.
"One ambulance attended and crews assessed two patients.
"One child, from one vehicle involved, was assessed and discharged on scene.
"The driver of a second vehicle, a woman, was given treatment by the ambulance crew on scene for injuries not believed to be serious before she was conveyed to hospital for further checks."
