A MAN has died in Belbroughton despite the best efforts of firefighters and paramedics who were alerted to help.
Firefighters from Wyre Forest Fire Station were called out to assist paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service to try to access a home in Yew Tree Road after reports of a medical emergency at the property.

The man, however, was confirmed to have passed away at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said one ambulance was sent to the scene at 9.24am on Sunday June 12 after being alerted to a medical emergency at the address.
A spokesperson added: "On arrival we discovered one male patient.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
