A TAXI driver has been shamed for forcing a disabled woman into the road by parking blocking the footpath in Cradley.

Antony Taylor took a picture of the taxi parked with all four wheels on the pavement in Meres Road.

He said it forced his friend who uses a mobility scooter to drive on the road.

Stourbridge News:

He posted a picture of the taxi to the Fatherless Barn kids, Colley Gate Facebook page, yesterday (Tuesday June 14) saying: "A friend of mine is not fully able bodied.

"She needs a mobility cart to get around.

"She has just been forced into the road because this taxi has completely blocked the footpath."

The taxi is licensed by Dudley Council which has been contacted for comment.
