A WOMAN has been left in “critical condition” after an incident on a Kingswinford canal path.
Emergency services were seen on Wednesday, June 15 on Greensforge Lane.
Paramedics were called just before 5:45 pm to a woman in critical condition.
She received advanced life support from staff and was rushed to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment.
Another woman was treated by crews as she became unwell and was also taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.42 pm to reports of an incident on Greensforge, Kingswinford.
“Two ambulances, three paramedic officers and a Critical Care Car from Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene.
“Upon arrival, we found a woman in a critical condition.
“She received advanced life support from ambulance staff.
“She was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment.
“Whilst at the scene, crews treated a second woman who became unwell.
“She was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment.”
West Midlands Police confirmed they attended responding to a missing person enquiry.
