YOUNG children and their families are invited to enjoy the Under 5s Day at Himley Hall and Park taking place this Friday (June 24).

Dudley Council has installed the popular Himley Beach, with more than 80 tonnes of sand and hundreds of vibrantly coloured buckets and spades at the ready to give youngsters a taste of the seaside.

The fun-filled event, running from 10am to 3pm, is designed for children under five and will see PAW Patrol characters Marshall and Skye featuring in Story Time sessions at various intervals throughout the day.

Activities on offer include a small petting zoo, the Air Ambulance helipod, Punch and Judy shows, pony rides, Lego for younger children, giant tortoises, a kiddie’s funfair, Box of Magic, balloon modelling, taster sessions for Hive of Craftivity Minimakers, MooMusic, MusicBugs, Peaceful Warriors Yoga, TumbleTots, BabyBallet, NN Dance and Cheer and the Road Safety Team.

As well as entertainment there will be a host of stalls and refreshment vendors and more.
