Shaz is Cabinet Member for Highways and Public Realm at Dudley Council.

Michelle, who has been a teacher for a decade and used to teach at Summerhill Primary in Tipton, has opened the centre after deciding she needed a change of direction.

She spent three months transforming the former bathroom shop with the work a real family affair as a string of family members helped out.

The centre has a range of areas for role play including a play kitchen and a construction area. Each session ends with a story time and there are also craft sessions.

It also boasts a cafe selling drinks, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, paninis and cakes.
