PEOPLE turned out in force to see the Queen's Baton Relay make its way through the Dudley borough yesterday (Sunday July 24).
Here's the journey of the baton in pictures as it made its way from Halesowen to Stourbridge, Wordsley, Dudley and Brierley Hill.
Inspirational people from across the borough took turns to carry the prestigious Queen's baton - with the first stop off being Halesowen town centre for the Halesowen Fun Run.

The relay then headed to Stourbridge, passing through Mary Stevens Park, then onto the Red House Glass Cone in Wordsley.
The journey then continued on to Dudley where the baton was carried along the streets of the Black Country Living Museum before moving on to Dudley Zoo and Castle.
The council held a civic event led by the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Sue Greenaway, to celebrate the arrival of the baton at Coronation Gardens opposite the Council House.
The relay continued onto Stone Square, before heading to Brierley Hill then onto its final destination at The Waterfront.
It then departed the borough by barge along Dudley No.1 Canal, ready for the next stage of its journey to the opening ceremony on Thursday (July 28).
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, said it had been "an honour" to host the finale of the Queen’s Baton Relay at The Waterfront and he added: "We’re delighted Merry Hill was at the heart of this borough-wide celebration.
“It’s been a fantastic day joining with the local community, seeing people come together and showing everything that we have to offer - from live sports demonstrations to incredible food and live music from local musicians, there was a real buzz."
