A FORMER Brierley Hill nursery has been sold at auction for £205,000.

Brotherhood Hall, which was home to Early Years Day Nursery, went under the hammer at the latest Bond Wolfe Auctions sale.

Sales particulars said the vacant freehold property in Trinity Street may be suitable for conversion to a residential property (four two-bed flats and a one-bed flat), subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents and it had a guide price of £190,000 plus fees.

The 3,025sqft property consists of space on the ground floor including a large trade area with various store rooms and a reception and kitchen, and the first floor comprises further trade space and several rooms suitable for storage.

The building was among 189 lots put up for sale at the auction held on Thursday July 21 at Holte Suite, Aston Villa FC, Trinity Road, Birmingham, where it sold for £205,000.

Eighty-three per cent of the lots up for auction were sold at the sale - Bond Wolfe’s first in-room auction for two years.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “The results provide evidence that demand for property continues to outstrip supply and it is still a great time to sell your property.”

The next auction will take place on Thursday September 15, starting at 9.30am. To find out more go to bondwolfe.com
