GOLFERS were greeted by glorious playing conditions when they took part in the Pedmore Invitation at Stourbridge Golf Club.
The event was organised by popular Pedmore Sporting Club who celebrate their golden jubilee later this year.
Victory went to Percy Price and his guest partner, who happened to be Stourbridge Golf Club’s President Bob Grindley.
The pair proved winners thanks to a 41 points total in a better ball stableford competition.
Since their formation, Pedmore Sporting Club have raised a huge amount for charity having donated more than £1.6million.
To mark the occasion, Pedmore Sporting Club will be staging a celebrity luncheon at Stourbridge Golf Club in October when guest speaker will be Barry Hearn OBE.
Applications for worthy charitable causes are always welcome and all money raised is donated, without any deductions.
