A MAN has suffered head injuries in an assault in Lye.
Police are investigating after a 58-year-old man was attacked on Lye High Street at around 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday August 6).
It is believed the attacker is known to the victim.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We’re investigating an assault on a man on Lye High Street.
"A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital with head injuries which are not life-threatening.
"Enquiries are underway to trace the suspect, who is believed to be known to the victim."
