DUDLEY Council has warned residents bin collections will be brought forward due to the extreme heat forecast later this week.
Temperatures are expected to soar to 34°C degrees on Thursday and Friday and the Met Office has issued an amber warning of extreme heat.
As a result bins across the borough will be collected earlier than usual later this week.
Council chiefs issued a notice on the authority's social media channels today saying: "With a Met Office amber warning in place for extreme heat on Thursday and Friday this week, bin and recycling collections will be brought forward.
"Please make sure your black bins are kerbside by 5.30am and recycling bags/boxes or green bins out by 6am on the day of your collection."
